Zatch toys! 12/31/05: Better (quite) late than never. According to a November report from IGN News, Mattel will be producing Zatch Bell toys in 2006! No word yet on a release date or which characters will be made into toys, so we'll keep you updated! More Auctions! Huzzah! 12/27/05: The eBay auctions are back up now with FIVE auctions this time around! We've put up two Bebop playing cards, two Zatch Bell cards, and one Digimon card: A Tia Card, A Tia Spell Card, Bebop King of Clubs, Bebop 2 of Spades, and A Rika Digi-Destined card. Zatch is Back in the New Year! 12/21/05: Scott let us know before the chat yesterday that there will be no Zatch Bell for the next two weeks because of special programming blocks on Toonami/Cartoon Network and the holidays. January 7th, however, Zatch will return and so will TIA to the series, which means MELISSA! So stay tuned for Tia's return to Zatch Bell on January 7th as well as the show's return from its brief hiatus. We're a Hit! 12/9/05: Today, Friday December 9th 2005, we passed the 60,000 hits mark! since we installed our hit counter in November of 2004, we've officially recorded more than 60,000 hits! That's totally awesome because it shows what an incredible fan base Melissa has and speaks for the volume of our community, both active and just getting interested. Nicktoons Network News! 12/3/05: Two updates regarding the Nicktoons Network's Invader Zim schedule! First and foremost, they've added two more airings to their weekly schedule, weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) at 8:30am. Secondly because of the holiday season, Nicktoons is airing holiday songs from their shows, including "Bow Down to Santa" from Invader Zim (which is also, for those of you who don't know, available for download on the Audio page!) So keep your eyes on the Nicktoons Network for both "Bow Down to Santa" and any of the 81 airings of Zim this month (Nicktoons is calling this month DeZIMber, so happy deZIMber!) Yay, more TWM transcript action! 12/2/05: The transcript for week 2 of Tuesdays with Mel is up here in the "Tuesdays with Mel" Archive! Mars Daybreak? 11/16/05: As far as we know, Mars Daybreak Volume 2 was supposed to be released last Tuesday (11/8) however, no one can find it. Best Buy currently has its street date listed as 11/22, so keep a lookout for it to be out then in both regular and limited editions! Happy Birthday, Kimmie! 11/16/05: Today's the super duper KIMMIE's birthday! So happy birthday to one of the most involved kittens. If it weren't for Kimmie and her giving us our first home at wicked-popular.com, Mille Baci probably wouldn't have been as cool or even been around at all, so lets give a big hand to Kimmie for getting everything started for us and just being a wonderful kitten and friend. I know a lot of you who don't have Toon Disney (like myself back at school) didn't get to see the movies the first time around, so make sure to tune in this Sunday at 9am and 9:45am to see it! Halloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom 10/21/05: Starting Saturday October 29th at 9:30 am, the Nicktoons Network will air the Invader Zim Halloween Spectacular of Spooky Doom all weekend as part of their Halloween Weekend. The air times are Saturday 9:30 am, 4:00 pm, 9:30 pm, Sunday 3:00 am, 9:30 am, 4:00 pm, 9:30 pm, and Monday 4:00am, 10:00 pm, Tuesday 1:00am and 1:30 am. Enjoy and Happy Halloween! No Zatch Bell this weekend! 10/21/05: There will be no Zatch Bell on Toonami this weekend (10/22/05) because of the special airing of The Batman vs. Dracula. It'll pick up again Saturday, 10/29 at 8:30 pm. Digimon Movie Screencaps 10/17/05: RT over at The Digi Zone has put up screen captures of the two Tamers movies on his site. Zatch Bell VG Availability Problems 10/17/05: The Zatch Bell Mamodo Battles video game WAS released on Tuesday the 11th, however, it looks like it's in limited release. Best Buy, Kmart, and Target have all confirmed they're not carrying it and have no plans to carry it, as is customary for them for many Anime-based Video Game titles. Only Wal-Mart is confirmed as planning on carrying it, if they aren't already. Some other suggestions--try specialty stores that center on Video Games (GameStop, GameRush, etc) or Rental places like Blockbuster and Hollywood Video or an online place such as Gamefly.com (Video Gaming's answer to Netflix.) No guarantees, so you might want to try calling around if you're looking for it, save some gas money. This may also be the case with the Bebop game once it's released. Cowboy Bebop game delayed? 10/13/05: Bandaigames.com still has the Cowboy Bebop game for PS2 listed as "Coming Soon" while games released until the end of the month are dated, so it looks like the Bebop game won't be out until November at the earliest, so put it on your Christmas/Hanukkah/Birthday/whatever you celebrate gift lists! According to the site, Zatch Bell WAS released on Tuesday, so go pick that up if you're a Zatch fan! For more info on both games, including screen shots and specs, check out Bandai Games. Digimon Time! 10/13/05: RapidmonTamer over at The Digi-Zone has informed us that the next Digimon movie will air THIS Sunday at 3pm (eastern, noon pacific). Thanks RT!
